# StageWorks (UK) Performing Arts School

> Founded by Emma-Jane Taylor in Henley (now our HQ), in 2000. Emma-Jane is a passionate dancer, performer and advocate for children, she wanted to give young people the opportunity to enjoy what she had as a child. In 2004 StageWorks expanded to Bristol and in 2007 our doors opened in Benson & Cookham, followed by Caversham in 2010. In 2024 StageWorks Spencers Wood opened their doors.
