Yes. Some of our students are represented by our casting agent, and have gone onto perform in the West End, TV, Film, and on Broadway!  We have celebrated students on Broadway and in the West End, London. We were also very happy to have rubbed shoulders with Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible and with Sir Ian McKellen, Dame Judi Dench, Kenneth Branagh in All is True. There are always lots of opportunities for those that wish to do more. 

*We are ALWAYS desperately needing chaperones, please make yourself known to the team if this is something you might be interested in. There are safeguarding procedures and licensing* applications to be made to be a chaperone. 

*3 references, a passport type photo verified, an online recommended safeguard training to be completed.

Our holiday workshops are fun and rewarding for all the kids that take part, there is something for everyone. The workshops fill up very quickly, so please contact us if you are interested in registering your child - or if you have a group of children (10 minimum) wanting to do a holiday workshop!
Everyone has a great time learning dances, playing games, doing drama activities and having fun, it is a busy couple of days for everybody involved! Truly fun filled days full of drama, games & dance…plus much more. Details of LIVE events will be on our Diary Dates page. 

Yes, we do! We have lots of experience of working with children aged 3+ and designing parties to suit every child’s (& parents) expectations. It couldn't be easier for you. We get involved with as much or as little as you would like us to, and arrive with one/two (sometimes 3) party helpers - depending on numbers and budgets - to ensure the event runs smoothly for your Pirate/Tinkerbell/Soldier/Fairy/Robot?!

• Minimum booking required is one hour
• Bookings to be paid 4 weeks in advance (where possible) and minimum of 48 hours cancellation required.

There are separate costs for show fees, production fees, costumes fees, tickets - these costs are reviewed annually and can be spread out across the year. All fees continue to ensure StageWorks enjoys the high standards of activities throughout the year. 

The extra costs enable each student to take part in our productions across the year. These costs to parents go along way to helping us cover production costs, incl our extra rehearsals/ props/ technical equipment - sound/lighting. 

Our production costs, and what we hire in and provide for our school and shows is immense. We bring in a professional production crew to ensure our shows continue with our expected high standards. As a professional team of performers we have an overall professional feel to our work, from costumes to make/up and production, regularly drafting in media professionals - setting us above many other local youth performing arts group.

We will always do our best to support families who might be struggling, as we do not believe in excluding children from our productions.

YES, we welcome community! Our parents are an important part of the work we do to educate children in the performing arts world, and also behind the scenes. Firstly, parental support makes everyones journey at StageWorks constructive (even our creative team) and our students thrive when their parents support them. 

Parents can also help as chaperones or in-class adnin - or maybe even as backstage crew. In the first instance we would need parents to have a DBS check and if helping in dressing rooms - then they would need to become a licensed chaperone. If you have an interest in safeguarding children, then both of these two options would not be a waste of your time. Personally we think if every parent became DBS checked and a licensed chaperone then life would be so easy for children and their afterschool activities.
